Financially Skilled People is a trading journaland analytics tool. Nothing in the Service — including trades, statistics, leaderboards, strategies, group content, or anything shared by other users — is financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice, and nothing is a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any security or instrument. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance shown in the app does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult a licensed professional before acting. You use the Service at your own risk.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Financially Skilled People (“we”, “us”, the “Company”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service lets you log and journal trades, view analytics, optionally connect a brokerage account to import activity, and — if you choose — share a profile or participate in groups and leaderboards. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
- misrepresent your trading results or impersonate another person; or
- post unlawful, abusive, misleading, or fraudulent content, including investment solicitations or “pump-and-dump” schemes.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the trades, notes, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, rendering it back to you, or to others only where you have explicitly chosen to share it). You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to submit it.
6. Brokerage connections
If you connect a brokerage or exchange, you authorize us to retrieve the data needed to import your activity. Any credentials or API secrets you provide are stored encrypted and used only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not affiliated with, and not responsible for, any broker; their own terms govern your account with them.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the Company and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any data, calculation, or analytic shown is accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing-law jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where prohibited by applicable law.
